Overview:
IP Phone 2007 incorporates a 5.7" viewable color touch-screen, bringing
a premier multimedia experience to the desktop IP Phone. Virtual Network
Computing technology optimizes graphically presented content pushed from
external application servers, such as from the Nortel Application Gateway
2000, An integrated USB port supports standard USB mouse and USB keyboards
for simple "point-n-click" access and navigation to applications. Business
telephony features are robust as delivered from Nortel Communication Servers.

- Large, 5.7”, QVGA, 320 x 240 pixel, high-resolution color touchscreen
supports converged (voice and data) application presentation from external
application servers such as the Nortel Application Gateway 2000.
- Delivers flexible and efficient navigation of menus and applications with
support of an integrated touch-screen, an on-screen popup keyboard and a
USB port which supports standard USB mice, keyboards and hubs.
- Up to twelve programmable soft line/feature keys, four soft context-sensitive
keys and nine fixed keys support tight integration of business telephony
features from Nortel Communication Servers.
- Tools softkey delivers single-click access to administration menus including
phone configuration, network and local diagnostic menus and user preferences.
- Integrated RJ-8 port enabling quick and direct connection of either amplified
or un-amplified headsets.
- Secured communications with standards-based signaling and media-path encryption
along with network authentication for enhanced security.
- Supports Unicode for complex font and character presentation on the IP
Phone 2007 display*
